G'morn, Jonny ~ I'd live for that piece of your art, please enter me in your generous giveaway ... Lilacs & roses are childhood favorites of Mother's, & mine now, that bloomed in her gardens ... filling the house with the exquisite aromas thru open windows.
The little piece you mentioned as a 'mail' receptacle is actually a vintage Nippon match holder & on the under side is the 'grate' where they struck the matches to light them. Isn't it a beauty? I love it.
To the right of it is a vintage scepter that DH found while in the orient. My home used to be 900% oriental decor ... it is quite a surprise, hand sculpted jade on a beautiful oriental wood. The religious men used it to cross their chests when presented to dignitaries. TYSM for asking.
