You will love the metal--it's very easy to work on, and your roses would be beautiful on it. I always put gloss varnish on it when I'm finished, and it looks much better in person than in the photo. I have so very much enjoyed meeting you through your beautiful blog & my what a talent in your own right. Your portraits, roses, cherubs, etc are just beyond gorgeous.
My Dad & aunt were artists & my Dad was self taught doing mostly landscapes. He also had a Indian Motorcycle & serve in WWII in the Army.
